Our Purpose

Extraction should build more than it takes.

GilBay was founded on a straightforward conviction: that mining, done with care, is nation-building work. From our first shafts in the Copperbelt to today's precision operations, we've held that line for fifty years.

We employ locally, train continuously, and reinvest a tenth of every profit dollar into schools, clinics, and civic infrastructure across our host communities in Zambia and the wider Southern and Central African region.
